Printing

Yellow Money Books are printed in a facility and we print the books on large digital heat set web presses. They are then trimmed to size and bound by saddle stitching (staples) or softbound (glue), depending on the size of the book. Perforations are done in-line on the press with a custom perforating unit.
The books are boxed in cardboard cartons and shipped to our regional facility, and then sent out to local stores, to events, and to locations where the public gathers. The books are free to the public.

Sustainability

Our printer takes our impact on the environment seriously, and recycles everything from paper and inks to the plates used on the presses.
Last year 2,701 tons of material were recycled. As a result, we saved 45,917 trees and 18.9+ million gallons of water, kept 8,913 cubic yards of refuse from going into a landfill, and reduced the emission of air-polluting chemicals by 162,000 pounds.
We and our printer continually strive to do whatever we can to protect the environment.
